We love events, and we love designing and installing our marquees as a host venue for a variety of occasions/celebrations.
We offer various decorative, lighting, flooring and furniture options in addition to our marquees, but sometimes we receive requests for other styles and/or numbers that we don’t stock.
That’s why we work with some excellent suppliers who are always willing to do their best to help us (and our clients) out.
Introducing....
The lovely Alison of Goldsborough Hall and Harrogate Celebration Hire who is our go to for additional wedding furniture.
Alison has nearly ten years of experience in the wedding industry, so it’s fair to say she knows a thing or two about organising a wedding.
Alison’s role as the main wedding planner for the stunning Goldsborough Hall just outside Knaresborough has seen her be involved in the preparations for many a wedding year on year.
Alison believes in treating every special occasion as though it were her own, and this personal commitment means she always does her utmost to realise the varied/different ideas and dreams of every couple.
In addition to being the wedding planner for Goldsborough Hall, Alison recently established Harrogate Celebration Hire with her husband Phillip, and we love their on-trend furniture offerings.
The rustic farmhouse table complemented by the ghost Chiavari chair (pictured above right) is a favourite style of Alison’s, and she hopes to grow the rustic collection in the future with the addition of a rustic round table.
As well as Harrogate Celebration Hire being one of our favoured suppliers for additional wedding furniture, we also install marquee extensions at Goldsborough Hall.
If a couple has their heart set on tying the knot here but their numbers or requirements exceed the hall's capacity, the extension makes their choice venue possible…plus our marquee extensions look pretty impressive and work well with the elegant surroundings!
I asked Alison what her favourite aspect of hosting a wedding celebration is, and her response…
“Without doubt – seeing the bride walk down the stairs to the ceremony!”
So simple, yet full of romantic anticipation and the many hours of celebration to come.
We sadly don't often get to see the bride's entrance (lucky Alison!) as much of what we do takes place ahead of any wedding. We spend the days leading up to any wedding date installing the marquee design to ensure the marquee venue is ready to welcome (and wow) all the guests, and of course the bride and groom.
We do, however love seeing photographs from weddings we have worked on and it always makes us smile when a bride and groom excitedly share their photographs with us.
